Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, a global standard unit of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust, is on the Tiruchirappalli – Chennai National Highways – 45, at Siruvachur in Perambalur district in a sprawling area of hundred acres. This medical college was set up as a boon to the people of Perambalur, Ariyalur, Cuddalore and Tiruchirappalli districts including Thuraiyur and Atur on the west.

DSMCH is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

Medical Education Unit

The Medical Education Unit (MEU) was established in 2011 as per the protocols of the Medical Council of India Regulations on Graduate Medical Education, 1997. It flourishes under the guidance of the Medical Council of India to oversee, update and adopt modern technology and to inculcate them in the teaching and learning processes. This helps the faculty to learn from the past, apply in the present and set up for the future in their teaching pedagogy.
